ABOUT
Meet Your Therapist
Hi! I’m Maria, ASHA certified, Florida licensed speech-language pathologist and owner of Ephphatha Speech Therapy. Originally from New York, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Teaching and Speech-Language Pathology and later completed my Master’s degree at Nova Southeastern University here in Florida.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings—including homes, private practices, hospitals, and clinics—and with clients across the lifespan. What matters most to me is meeting people where they are and focusing on communication that truly supports interactions in daily life. My sessions are individualized, functional, and often incorporate play, movement, and creativity, to make learning feel meaningful and fun!

I’m a loving wife, a mom to an active baby boy, and an animal lover with a dog and a cat at home. My faith guides how I live and work, encouraging me to show up with patience, compassion, and genuine love for my patients. Through Ephphatha, my hope is to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.
